A History of Growth and Innovation

Kaycan began as an aluminum manufacturer and quickly expanded its offerings to include vinyl siding and a variety of innovative materials. Key milestones in our growth include: 1974: Began the production of aluminum siding and trims 1987: Launched vinyl siding manufacturing 2004: Entered the vinyl gutter market with the acquisition of Plastmo 2008: Expanded into engineered wood siding 2014: Broadened our portfolio to include windows and patio doors.

In 2022, Kaycan was acquired by Saint-Gobain S.A., marking a new chapter in its history. This acquisition by a global leader in lightweight and sustainable construction strengthened Kaycan’s position in the North American market.
